(1985) Mark Favro on vocals, Joel Pylishan on keyboards, Joel Gehman on bass, Galen and Owen Curnoe on drums. Alissa Maynard soon joined to provide vocals. Chaz Vincent and others joined  just before the band ended.

STUPID HEAD in many ways was in the same spirit of what LUBATUNES had done minus the mask. I have many fond memories of this band. We played live a few times with Alissa Maynard doing her kooky clam vocals. The STUPID HEAD video featured here is basically the birth of this band. We recorded the track the day before we made the video. One long shot with very few inserts. Watch out for the little fellah at the bottom of the screen.

Shuckin' and jivin' (or shucking and jiving) is a slang term for the behavior of joking and acting evasively. More generally, the term can also refer to the speech and behavior adopted in the presence of an authoritative figure.[1] Shuckin' and jivin' usually involves clever lies and impromptu storytelling, used to one-up an opponent or avoid punishment.
